My name is Chloe and I am the founder of Hop Bakery. Hop Bakery stemmed from my love of rabbits (I currently have six) and Vegan baking.
Just before I made the transition to veganism during the summer of 2014 I got seriously into baking and didn’t want to lose the ability to make scrumptious sweet treats so I researched and recipe tested. Who knew that making Vegan cakes would be so dreamy! I wanted to share my new found ways of baking without the need for animal products with anyone and everyone I could. Every opportunity that would arise, whether it was a birthday, gathering or just simply a weekend with friends I would get baking. Seeing peoples reactions when they realised what they had eaten was in fact vegan was just amazing – they couldn’t quite believe what they were tasting.
From here I wanted to share my creations with as many people as possible which paved the way to Hop Bakery starting. Currently you can find me every first Saturday of the month at the Cheltenham Farmers Market. I’ll be the one with the big beaming smile on my face because who wouldn’t be happy selling vegan cakes to vegans and non vegans alike. I also take orders through the website so get in touch if you have any events coming up that you would like catering for or just simply to fulfil a sweet sugar craving we all get sometimes.
